Although my shopping sprees have been few and far between lately, I’ve still somehow managed to acquire some new lifestyle bits and bobs I thought I’d share with you today.
Superdrug Vitamin E Face Oil / I’m a long time fan of Superdrug’s Vitamin E skincare range – there’s some truly fab products, it’s very affordable and also cruelty free. A couple of favourites of mine from the range include the Leave On Moisture Mask, and this face oil, which I recently re-introduced back into my collection when some of my more expensive oils ran out. It’s a lovely consistency, super hydrating and smells delightful. I have a post here where I discuss the vitamin E products in more depth, and despite that post being over 2 years old I still feel the exact same. Definitely worth a gander next time you’re in town. New Balance Trainers / I’ve been eyeing up these lovely nude trainers since, erm, Christmas time. So when I saw they’d been reduced by over 50% I couldn’t help but flutter my lashes, bake some cookies, and convince Danny he needed to buy them for me. Hashtag independent woman. They’re the perfect trainer to match every outfit, and such a bargain at £35! Shop here.
The Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing Butter / Another old skincare fave of mine, I repurchase this cleansing butter time and time again. It’s hydrating, leaves skin feeling refreshed, and in short – my skin doesn’t freak out when I use it. And that’s perfection to me. Shop here.
Couch to 5k / Some of you may know I’ve been doing slimming world since about March/April time, but after my gym membership ran out I hadn’t given much thought to getting active until now. I wanted to try the couch to 5k because, despite absolutely hating running, I need a way to get fit that’s free and easy. I’m still on week 1 so who knows if I’ll actually stick with it, but so far I’ve been really enjoying getting out of the house a bit more and moving myself. Download the app here.
Sainsbury’s Leather & Amberwood Votive Candles / I picked these votives up for about £3 in the Sainsbury’s homeware sale. They smell like a lovely aftershave, quite masculine and woody (as the name would suggest!). I’ve yet to burn them, but for a few quid I’m not too bothered if they’re not the best candles in the world. Shop here.
Bobbi Brown Nude Lipstick Trio / A lovely surprise gift I was given from Danny’s parents, this Bobbi Brown lipstick trio includes three nude shades that are perfect for the day time. I’ve yet to wear them out to test longevity, but I’ll be doing a post on them as soon as I’ve given them a good run. Shop Bobbi Brown Lipstick here.
