A Beauty Wishlist

beauty wishlist makeup and skincare masks the ordinary brands new in

I‘m not gonna lie, I VERY MUCH wish the title of this post was ‘A Beauty Haul’ and that all the things I’m about to mention were in fact mine to have & hold… but alas, I’m poor AF and new sheet masks unfortunately aren’t too high on the ‘things I physically can’t survive without’ list.

Who woulda thunk it?

So this post is basically the things that are on my radar, that make me go all heart eyed emoji every time I see a tweet/insta pic/blog post/youtube video with them in. They’re the products I’m placing a humongous Boots/Feel Unique/Superdrug/ASOS order for as soon as I come into any sort of dolla, because although not on my ‘things I physically can’t survive without’ list, they’re on my ‘things I NEED IN MY LIFE or I will be vvvv sad’ list.

Sheet Masks

Terrible beauty blogger confession #1: I have never tried a sheet mask. (Mainly because I’m so obsessed with the face masks I already own that scouting out new ones just hasn’t been on my to-do list.)

Recently they have been *everywhere* and tbh I’m feeling a little bit like I’m sat in on a Saturday night with crap TV and tap water while everyone else on the entire planet is at one big sheet mask party complete with all the prosecco, mac & cheese, and access to American Netflix.

The ones on my radar include the Soap & Glory Speed Plump Moisture Mask, Bright & Beautiful Radiance Mask, and the Puffy Eye Attack Brightening Patches, the Face Inc Flower Power Mask, and the Sanctuary Purifying Charcoal Bubble Mask.

The Ordinary

The Ordinary is a brand that has absolutely blown up online recently, and I can’t help but feel like I’m missing out. Products I’m super keen to try are the Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution which is supposed to be a great dupe for Pixi Glow Tonic, the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, the High-Spreadability Fluid Primer, and the Serum Foundation.

Urban Decay Ultimate Basics Palette

The Ultimate Basics palette is a neutral, all matte palette and something I’m really missing in my collection. I’m not the best at eyeshadow, but I’ve been getting into it a lot more recently and my collection (if you can call it that, I have two palettes LOL) could really do with some matte shades.

Charlotte Tilbury Mini Miracle Eye Wand

I discovered this product through Feel Unique’s sample service (post coming soon!) and fell in love with it. It’s not the most ‘exciting’ of beauty products (I much prefer lipstick, highlighter and blush) but honestly I was so thrilled when I used it. As someone with dry skin I find a lot of concealers can crease under my eyes and start to look like a bit of cracked mud in the street. Gross. This product is absolutely FAB, it’s so hydrating and sits so nicely, plus the peachy tone helps to counteract any darker circles.
