I’m a fussy cow with most things in life, but even more so with handbags. Must have a zip, must have a strap, inside pockets, not too ‘out there’, not too ‘boring’, etc, etc. Pair that with the fact I am eternally skint so can’t afford to delve from the high street, and well, we have a problem.
I’d been searching for a new bag for a while, one I could use for work AND at the weekend, one that looked smart but not boring, decent quality but that I didn’t need a loan to purchase. And I’ll be honest, the amount of time I’ve spent google searching handbags is really bloody embarrassing.
So anyway, I reckon I’ve painted my handbag situation clearly enough for you to imagine how chuffed I was to discover this little Carvela Kurt Geiger beauty on sale for £35. THIRTY FIVE POUNDS.
I mean, that’s like 2 weeks of morning coffee. WHAT.
It’s a decent size, about A4, it has a zip all the way across (legit bag criteria when you live in Manchester… none of these half zipped handbags letting rain it!), and it also has a zip pocket on the front as well as a pouch on the inside. Oh and a long strap for those days you just ceebs carrying a handbag like a handle. Which is basically everything I want in a handbag.
The quality is amazing, I love the design, and it was just SO cheap for what it is (reduced from £90).
And tbh, I don’t know what else to say about a bag. But I will tell you that this is the first ever ‘outfit shoot’ I’ve done, and I dragged my work pal to the park at dinner and it was V embarrassing because a) I didn’t know where the bloody hell to look or what to do with my face or how to stand (nah but seriously how do you people make it look so effortless?!) and b) people from work kept walking past and laughing, so that’s cute.
